“Sensory activities: NATURAL RATTLES”
This is an activity that you can prepare at home by yourself using recycled materials, so that it’s a toy that is inexpensive and easy to make. Natural rattles that I bring today to entertain children, are also ideal to late them discover the characteristics of various small objects, without any risk.
- Transparent bottles, all equal.
- Tape for sealing
- Different types of seeds: wheat, seeds of Apple, of grape, of Orange, of melon, of pipes, pine nuts, chestnuts,…
Proposal of presentation:
First, we introduce a type of seed in each bottle, cover them and seal them with adhesive tape so that the children can’t open them.
We present all natural rattles inside a basket that leave within reach of children, like this they can shake them and thus in addition to discover various sounds and a lot of seeds of sizes, colours and different textures.
If we look at the reaction of the children, we’ll see how they entertain and surprise with something so simple and easy, created by ourselves with recycled materials. Often we can see how they can have a great time with any object, no matter how simple it is it can become a game that they will, and it’s what happens with natural rattles.
I encourage you to create with your children… you will see how they enjoy it a lot and you also, looking at them!
